Hmmm...where to begin? I'm a twentysomething from Nova Scotia living in Oakville, Ontario. I think most people would describe me as modest, friendly, and, hopefully, trustworthy. I love hockey, lacrosse, cars, and the outdoors. (geez, sounds like one of those cheezy singles ads, eh?!)
I guess I have changed much over the last few years. I went to college, finished, and started working for a living. I worked for a company called the Wade Company. I built their website completely and constucted the catalogue (much of which I put online). After a while, I decided that this was not the job for me.
So I did something I'm kinda proud of having the guts to do - I loaded up my stuff and moved to the big city of Toronto. I showed up with hardly a buck in my pocket and landed my dream job.
So now I work as an accountant with a high-powered CA firm in Mississauga called Lemoine Hyland LLP. This is an excellent place to work and learn my trade as I am surrounded by experts who are all good people and want me to succeed. It's the type of place where you want to do well because you love the people you work for and have real pride in the company's name. My goal? C.A. (Chartered Accountant) designation. Then I am a bit torn about whether to stay in Toronto or move back home to Halifax.
