Hi, My name is Keith and I am a 27 year now retired veteran of the New York City Department of Correction. I am currently a police officer in middle Tennessee, starting my 2nd career. During my tenure with the New York City Department of Correction, I have served in all capacities from basic housing unit officer on Rikers Island to my last assignment as Team Supervisor with the Investigations Division. The New York City Department of Correction is the single largest Corrections Department in the world. We have 14 seperate facilities in our jurisdiction housing over 22,000 inmates. We have one of the most sophisticated Emergency Response Units and Gang Intelligence networks in the country. We have a Marine Bureau with 2 boats, an active K-9 program and utilize the latest in technology when it comes to security and use of force. We utilize incarceration alternatives such as our home arrest program and work release programs for first time, non violent offenders. We have a large Shock Bootcamp Incarceration program which has seperate male and female compounds. I have been an avid collector of Law Enforcement Patches, pins and badges for many years. As I am now retired, I have to begin getting rid of my collection as I have no place to keep it. I do not want to put all my hard work in a drawer somewhere. I would rather share them with collectors like your self. I have therefore decided to sell my collection which was a hard decision to make. Please visit my PATCH page and see if there is anything I have you may want or need.If interested in anything at all, contact me via e-mail and I will send you an address. |
