Our Red Earth is a First Nations community with an orientation toward American Indian news, issues, activism, and work for the People. We are a mature and vocal forum, and not necessarily suitable for children. This community is supportive of the American Indian Movement but is neither sponsored, supported, nor approved by the same. American Indian spirituality is not discussed here.
Note: You do not have to be an American Indian to join this group - all races and colors are welcome here - but applicants should ideally be someone who works or intends to work closely with American Indians.

Greetings, and welcome to Our Red Earth (ORE). Our Red Earth is a grassroots net based collection of American Indians and supporters involved in various projects, mostly online, though obviously we come together on the ground when we can. We have an orientation toward news, letter writing, reissuing CTA's, putting out requests for assistance, etc.
Our list is moderated by AIM members but we are not specifically an AIM list nor are we supported by such. Neither do we participate in the "two AIM" mindset.
