The importance of the Second Amendment

"Is there a blessing for the Czar," asked a man.
"Of course," said the Rabbi, "There is a blessing for everyone: May the Lord bless and keep the Czar--Far away from us!"
The line above is from the opening scene of Fiddler on the Roof. The subjects learned that physical distance from a tyrant did not protect them from his oppression. The remote Jewish community in the play lost their homes and livestock. Our founding fathers learned that crossing the uncharted ocean did not protect them from the oppression of English rule.

Today in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and England the people have been losing much to increasingly tyrannical governments. Some, such as Randy Weaver's son and wife, and some of the Branch Davidians, lost their lives.

The first property confiscated by the NWO will be firearms. This has already happened in Austrailia. (See guestbook.) The excuse was the same one anti-gunners are using in the United states: Crime control. The Australian government followed the UN plan for gun confiscation a year ago. Since then homicides have increased 3.2%, assaults rose 8.6%, armed robberies increased 44%. The state of Victoria had a steadily decreasing violent crime rate for 25 years. Since the firearms ban, the rate for homicides with firearmes rose 300%. The only ones to obey the law and turn in firearms were honest citizes. The criminals don't turn in weapons. Why is the government afraid of honest citizens? It's because when they try to force the New World Order down our collective throats, we won't be able to resist.

In the U.S., the Second Amendment protects our right to keep and bear arms. But that protection is being eroded and circumvented by the one-world elitists. The U.S. Supreme Court took the 2nd Amendment out of context with related historical writings and added a comma, and ruled that the right of the people to keep and bear arms meant the National Guard, not the individual citizen. The original version says: "A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." The elitiests have managed to get people to believe that the Second Amendment says, " A well regulated militia(,)being necessary to the security of a free state(,) the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." According to the rules of usage, the above phrase in italics is a parenthetical phrase. The sentence should mean the same thing with the phrase removed. It does not. The second comma completely negates the meaning of the 2nd Amendment that the authors intended.

James Madison foresaw the possibility of the Constitution being taken out of context to further a treasonous agenda when he wrote, "Do not separate text from historical background. If you do, you will have perverted and subverted the Constitution, which can only end in a distorted, bastardized, form of illegitimate government."

In a pamphlet advocating ratification of the Constitution, Noah Webster wrote:
"Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed, as they are in almost every kingdom of Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword, because the whole body of the People are armed, and constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops that can be, on any pretense, raised in the United States." The idea that the militia is the body of the citizens, The People, was expressed by George Mason, in a debate on the ratification of the Constitution, said, "I ask, sir, what is the militia? It is the whole people, except for a few public officials."

The United Nations has been furthering its agenda for world domination on several fronts in the U.S. One front is the World Charter of Local Self-government the appears to champion self-rule at first glance, but in reality does just the opposite. Article 3 says: "Local self government denotes the right and ability of local authorities, within the limits of the law to regulate and manage a substantial share of public affairs under their own responsibility and in the interest of the local population." Article 4 says: "Local authorities will have full discretion to exercise their inititive with reguard to all matters which are not excluded by law.

Which law? The UN law, of course. John Foster Dulles, ex-Secretary of State said: "Treaties make international law, and also make domestic law. Under the Constitution, Treaties become the supreme law of the land. ...Treaties can take powers away from the Congress and give them to the President; they can take powers from the state and give them to some international body. [Read that to mean the U.N.] and they can cut across the rights given the people by the Constitutional Bill of rights. None of the above is exactly true: Treaties have force only in that they conform to the Constitution. If they contradict the Constitution, the the Constitution reigns supreme.

Judges, though, are acting as if the UN treaties superseed US law.Judge Preston Thatcher of the Sixth Circut Court ruled on June 16, 1952 that the UN charter took precedence over Idaho law, and therefore aliens could own property in Idaho.

"The UN is not a debating society," says Lt. Col. Archebald E. Roberts, AUS, (Ret.) of the Committee to Restore the Constitution.(See Links page.)Its objective, he says, is to overthrow the government of the US by peaceful means if possible, and if not, then by force.

James Madison wrote in the National Gazette, on Jan. 19, 1792, "Liberty and order will never be perfectly safe until a trespass on the Constitutional provisions for either, shall be felt with the same keeness that resents an invasion of the dearest rights." Unfortunately the invasion is taking place today. Hundreds of anti-gun bills are sponsored on local, state, and federal levels each year--the Brady bills I and II are prime examples of legislation that will not make our society any safer, but seriously jepordize our Constitutional freedoms. The populace of this country--I'll not call them The People for reasons that will be clear later on in this page-- allow this tragedy to happen because they are told that it is for their safety. "They that give up essential liberty for a little temporal safety," said Benjamin Franklin, "deserve neither liberty nor safety."

Gun control doesn't reduce crime or make our streets safer. All states that have passed concealed carry laws have significantly lower violent crime rates than the states that have restrictive legislation. Vermont, for example, allows the concealed carry of firearms by honest citizens without a permit. When adjusted for population differences, the FBI Uniform Crime Reports show that the major cities in Vermont have a violent crime rate 2-1/2 times lower than Denver, Colorado, a city with very restrictive gun laws.

Contrary to the lies of legislators, police do not favor gun control. According to an annual survey of the Nat. Ass. of Chiefs of Police, 18,000 chiefs and 3,000 county lawmen reported the following: 88.7% believe an assault weapon ban will not help curb crime. 86.7% said cash for guns does not work, and 91.4% opposed firearms registration.

Neither do drug traffickers, gang members, and other criminals get their guns from licensed dealers, contrary to what the BATF would have us believe. Ramon Milan Rodreguez, an ex-money launderer for the Madelin Cartel, said in testimony before a Senate investigation committee that major drug sources in Columbia are in partnership with terrorist& guerrilla organizations. Rodreguez testified that a ready made link exists between terrorists, drug traffickers, and US gang members. Castro has been supplying guns to S. American terrorists, many of which find their way to US gang members.

"This year will go down in history. For the first time a civilized nation has full gun control. Our streets will be safer, our police more efficient, and the world will follow our lead into the future." No, it's not a quote from comrade Billary, though it sounds like him. Nor is it a quote from Australia or New Zealand. It's from a 1933 speech by Adolf Hitler. Today we have the anti-gun Brady Bills, and other restrictive legislation. Clinton has been able to pass laws for increased federal violation of the 4th amendment protection against unreasonable search and seasure. Americans should heed the warning of Hitler's Germany: After registration comes confiscation.

The revolutionary war didn't start over taxes, or the Boston Massacre. It started when the British sent Gen. Henry Clinton to confiscate the ball, powder, and muskets from the colonists. Today the NWO is sending William Clinton to confiscate firearms from the American people. Special Forces personel are being queried to see if they would fire on American citizens that refuse to give up their guns. (See Prelude page.) One reply, printed in The Resister, the newsletter of the Special Forces underground, said: "Under the Constitution the only Federal crime is treason. Subverting the Constitution can only be construed as such. Those in government, Federal state, or local, who by action or inaction would legislate away the only individual guarantee against tyrannical government, the right to keep and bear arms, and those who support such legislation, are traitors to the Constitution.
"As a soldier in the standing army I am sworn to defend the Constitution against these domestic enemies of the Constitution. I will, and I'm not alone."

Charlton Heston in a speech at Harvard said in part, "Dedicating the memorial at Gettysburg, Abraham Lincoln said of America, 'We are now engaged in a great civil war, testing whether this nation or any nation so conceived and so dedicated can long endure.' Those words are true again. I believe that we are again engaged in a great civil war, a cultural war that's about to hijack your birth right to say and think what's in your heart. I fear you no longer trust the pulsing lifeblood of liberty inside you...the stuff that made this country rise from wilderness into the miracle that it is.

"Before you claim to be a champion of free thought, tell me: Why did political correctness originate on America's campuses? And why do you continue to tolerate it? Why do you, who're supposed to debate ideas surrender to their opposition?

"You are the best and the brightest...But I submit that you, and your counterparts across the land, are the most socially conformed and politically silenced generation since Concord Bridge.

"Here's another example. Right now, at more than one major university, Second Amendment scholars and researches are being told to shut up about their findings or they'll lose their jobs. Why? Because their research findings would undermine big city mayor's law suits that seek to extort hundreds of millions of dollars from firearms manufacturers.

"I don't care what you think about guns. But if you are not shocked at that, I am shocked at you.

"In that same spirit, I am asking you to disavow cultural correctness with massive disobedience of rogue authority, social directives and onerous law that weaken personal freedom.

"But be careful--it hurts. Disobedience demands that you put yourself at risk. Dr. King stood on a lot of balconies.

"A few years back I heard about a rapper named Ice-T who was selling a CD called 'Cop Killer' celebrating the ambushing and killing of police officers. I heard that Time Warner had a stockholders meeting....I asked for the floor...I simply read the full lyrics of 'Cop Killer'--every viscious, vulgar, instructional word...I'll never be offered another film by Warners, or get a good review from Time Magazine. But disobedience means you must be willing to act, not just talk.

"So that this nation may long endure, I urge you to follow in the hallowed footsteps of the great disobediences of history that freed exiles, founded religions, defeated tyrants, and yes, in the hands of an aroused rabble in arms and a few great men, by God's grace, built this country."

Resistence need not be violent, but it needs to be done. Letters, faxes, telephone calls to newspapers, legislators, and anti-Constitutional groups need to go out.

When John Steinbeck was prepairing for his trip across America 20 some years ago that would become the book Travels with Charlie,, a political journalist friend said to him,
"If anywhere in your travels you come across a man with guts, mark the place. I want to go see him. I haven't seen anything but cowardice and expediency. This used to be a nation of giants. Where have they gone? You can't defend a nation with a board of directors. That takes men. Where are they?
"You dig up 10 able bodied Americans who aren't afraid to have a conviction, an idea, or an opinion in an unpopular field, and I'll have the major part of a standing army.
"There used to be a thing or a commodity we put great store by. It was called The People. Find where The People have gone. I don't mean the square-eyed tooth paste and hair dye people or the new-car-or-bust people, or the sucess-and-coronary people.
"If there ever were The People, that's the commodity the Declaration was talking about, and Mr. Lincoln."

"Hegel wrote somewhere," said Carl Marx, "that 'all great events and personalities in history reappear in one form or another.' He forgot to add: The first time as a tradgety, the second as a farce." William Clinton and the elitists apparently haven't grasped the lesson learned by the British and Gen. Henry Clinton, or they feel that we've become a too soft-and-spoiled-new-car-me-first-no-responsibility nation. There are still The People in this country. Not many, to be sure, but they're here. There are still those that will give their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor to keep the Beast with the Blue Beret from distroying the Constitution. Rest easy, Mr. Stienbeck, The People may be an endangered species, but they're far from extinct.

"In the beginning of a change, the patriot is a scarce man brave, hated, and scorned. When his cause suceeds, however, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot."
-- Samuel Clemens.(Mark Twain)
