 Fran was just a secretary when we moved in on the 31'st of March 1989. Now she is the site manager. You will learn more about our beloved Fran later. Fran has her hands full as project manager. It is up to her to see that things run smoothly around here. Believe me that is not an easy job. But not to worry she is up to the task Mary is our new Secretary. She started in March 99 and she is doing well. It is now May 6th and Mary is really in the swing of things. I told you she would work out. Richard is Head of the Maintenance Staff and has been here since before we moved in. He likes to be called Rich or Richtie. You will learn a lot more about him later on. Rich does just about everything around here from stocking the vending machines to delivering water and packages to our residents. You name it he does it. Mike is our second member of the maintenance staff. He has an easy devil may care type personality, and we all like him very much. Mike drives our van, does inside maintenance work, keeps up with the outside landscaping of our building. Wow he sure is a busy guy. Yvonne is our gal Friday, she is involved in doing just about everything around here. Just ask her why her motto is "Isn't it Friday Yet".Sad but true Yvonne left us on the fifth of May 99. Off to a better job with more pay and better benefits. We all will miss her and we wish her well What to say about Tim, he is our on call maintenance man. At least that's his title. But all of our tenants say"Tim Who". Tim also works for Allied Security. It seems that whenever someone needs him he is not to be found. Aw poor Tim. The gossip in the building says Tim is moving out soon. They have three small children in a two bedroom apartment. Do you think that is why Tim can't be found? Ann is our social director here at McDade. I am trying to get her to put out a monthly newsletter for us, but she says "I am computer illeterate". Hope to change that in the near future. Well here I am again with the latest news from McDade. Since I last updated our girl Friday Yvonne has left us. Fret not she went on to bigger and better things. We have one other departure Tim has finally found his house and moved out on 30 Jun 99. Good Luck Tim. We now have two additions to our staff here at McDade. Jerry who has joined our manintenance staff, and Sean who has signed on for the summer to work on our landscape. A big welcome to them both. Well here it is July 2000 and there are more changes to be announced: 1. Mary our secretary has departed and been replaced by Marge. 2. Mike our second in command has departed, and has yet to be replaced. 3. Ann our social director has gotten a computer, and she is getting used to it. Next is our "Tenant Association" Here at McDade. When we first moved in we became members of this association. That lasted for about two years. The one big problem I see with the association is no new blood or ideas. They run bingos and dinners for the benefit of our tenants. They only drawback is the constant bickering about who sits where and why you can't sit there. For the amount of dues you pay at the current time $2.00 per month. You could just as well save the money and at the end of the year put it with somemore and get a nice quite dinner of your choosing. |
