Feingold Receives Overwhelming Support of Wisconsin Newspapers;
Including 4 out 5 Dailies in Congressman Neumann’s Own District

Middleton – U.S. Senator Russ Feingold has been endorsed by an overwhelming
number of daily newspapers read in Wisconsin.

"These positive endorsements from papers read all across Wisconsin
illustrate the statewide support that exists for Senator Feingold’s
reelection effort," said Mike Wittenwyler, Senator Feingold’s campaign
manager.  "Since 1993, Feingold has criss-crossed the state visiting with
residents in their own communities and his willingness to listen to them
directly has not gone unnoticed.  We are confident that on Tuesday, a
majority of voters – like the majority of these newspapers – will turn out
in support of a second term for Senator Feingold."
