My Reservation

My name is Tony and I am an enrolled member of the Rosebud Sioux Indian Tribe. My reservation is the Rosebud Indian Reservation. Rosebud is located in south-central South Dakota.
Rosebud has many beautiful scenic spots.

the Little White River
A beautiful scenic picture of the Little White River. The river flows through the heart of the Rosebud Indian Reservation.

    Rosebud has many cultural events throughout the summer. The Rosebud Fair is held every year in August. The Rosebud Fair has many events that many people can enjoy. They even have a rodeo. I dance as a traditional dancer. I haven't danced in a few years but I will very soon.

Jingle Dress Dancers
Female youth Jingle Dress Dancers at the annual Rosebud Fair Wacipi Celebration. The Rosebud Fair Wacipi is traditionally held during the third weekend of August and it is a tradition that is over 122 years old.
