The arrival and capture of Rudolf Hess in Scotland on the night of May 10, 1941, remains one of the few unresolved mysteries of the Second World War and continues to generate controversy to this day. The official explanation of Hess's appearance on British soil was that the second most important man in Nazi Germany had gone mad and was on a desperate unauthorised mission to reestablish his failing career in the eyes of Hitler. Other sources claim that he was a hero who planned to broker a top secret peace deal with the British.

As I have found on the Web, many
young people are writing schoolworks, doing research
papers, term papers or introducing projects related to
Walter Richard Rudolf Hess. All these people are surfing
the Web to find any additional information about Hess. I
hope this site will do a little help for you as well. I
always wonder if I could have a chance to read these
papers. |
