Fishing Ponds
The CITY OF UNION CITY recently obtained ownership and/or a lease agreement to two local area landmark ponds. Each of which are now open to the general public for fishing. Union City Parks and Recreation is working in conjunction with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency and Mr. Lanny Callicut to help manage these areas. These two locations will undergo some improvements in the future to help create a more enjoyable environment. We encourage you to utilize these faclities, but we also ask that you follow the guide-lines to help us keep these areas an enjoyable place to visit. A valid fishing license is required at both locations. NO SWIMMING ALLOWED!!! Please keep your litter picked up.
