- Use the National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition (NOOSR) guidelines when assessing overseas higher education and technical qualifications.
- Compare qualifications and skills with accredited technical and vocational training courses.
- Give assistance to obtain recognition of informally gained skills and knowledge.
- Assist individuals to present information to recognition bodies, where necessary.
- Provide information about English courses, further training and employment programs .
- Provide resources and information to agencies such as employment, education, training and English language providers and community groups that assist the overseas trained .
- We also provided services to non-residents which can be discussed by contacting us.

Each year the Unit assists over 2,000 individuals to gain recognition through information, referral, assessment, advocacy and the development of bridging training programs. Currently, its three functional areas are client servicing, research and development and business services. |
