The Church of Scientology(tm) has a reputation of being a dangerous and abusive cult. It spares no one who opposes it. Court records have shown that it will spare no expense in dragging it's opponents though unending lawsuits thereby financially destroying those who publicly speak out against it. It is a "religion" based entirely on science fiction and outer-space fantasy. It hides it's ridiculous claims of "truth" by declaring upper levels of "study" as trade secrets and thereby secrets them away until the unsuspecting initiate has spent thousands of dollars. And then a terrible trap is sprung as they discover the real truth about Scientology(tm). Scientology(tm) has been declared a "non-religious" commercial enterprise in Germany. Many of the upper echelon have been tried and convicted in the criminal courts and even L. Ron Hubbard, it's founder, died a fugitive from justice. And, a final note, for a chilling story of Scientology's reputation of physical abuse, read the Lisa McPherson Story.
