We are one of the most active political student organizations here at UTK. The College Republicans are a student-based political organization for all students who believe that the responsibility for a better future is in our hands; not the federal government. </FONT></FONT></H2> <H3><FONT COLOR="#FF0000">Our members become very active in local, state, and national campaigns. We even have members who have taken their experiences with the College Republicans and have ran for public office. This is accomplished by playing an active role in debates, assemblies, and speakers on campus. </FONT></H3> <H3><FONT COLOR="#FF0000">The College Republicans of UTK stress activism. One does not have to be a registered Republican to join us; just have an open mind and a vast interest in politics. Not only do we promote the Republican Party on campus and nation wide, but we encourage everyone to become involved in the American Political System.
