"It is inconceivable that anyone could say that we have tried to hide anything."
-Bill Clinton, CBS "Morning News," 12/15/95

"It seems to us that the president has set 'a new standard of ethics' in Washington. The problem is that it fails to meet even the most minimal benchmark for aboveboard behavior by public officials."
-Editorial, The New York Post, 10/16/96

"Having long championed traditional Democratic causes, I simply cannot accept Mr. Clinton's shameless election-year surge to the right as his chosen means of winning a second term. And like most, if not all, traditional Democrats, I have grave reservations about the Clintons' morality and ethics. In my view there is now probable cause to consider our president and first lady as felons, who are likely to be indicted after the Nov. 5 election."
-Jerome M. Zeifman op-ed, former Democrat chief counsel to the House Judiciary Committee during the Watergate Hearings,The Wall Street Journal, 10/25/96)

"You won't believe this at first. In terms of what you're asking, there is no Bill Clinton. He has no principles he would not abandon if it costs him votes. However, he is a hell of a campaigner."
-Arkansas Reporter

Even some of America's best-known liberal Democrats admit that Bill Clinton is an Olympic-class liar.

"[Bill Clinton] has kept the promises he meant to keep"
-George Stephanopolous, Clinton's previous Senior Policy Advisor on Larry King Live

"Clinton's an unusually good liar. Unusually good. Do you realize that?"
-Bob Kerrey, Senator and Chairman of Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee in Esquire

FACT: Bill Clinton is a lying, pot smoking, draft dodging, womanizing, adulterous abuser of power, who's closest friends and business partners are convicted felons and who have suggested that a female government employee could "kiss" his genitals and it's alright. Are these the actions of an ethical man?

The following is a partial list of Mr. Clinton's specious actions and outright lies:

1.Campaign Finance Violations: The Clinton Administration strains to find areas where Bob Dole's campaign may cut corners in FEC regulations. You may ask yourself why Clinton's aides accuse Mr. Dole of impropriety when there is no appearance of such. Maybe because Bill Clinton is trying to defuse the future accusations about his own campaigns, considering that he has broken the rules far worse than anyone else in the history of the United States. Clinton directed $2.4 million in private contributions received from his 1992 primary campaign, into the general election legal compliance fund. That allowed him to keep $2 million in federal matching funds which rightfully belonged to the United States Treasury. As a result, Clinton had to repay taxpayers more than $1.3 million.

This is LARGEST repayment ever required for a "SUBSTANTIVE VIOLATION OF CAMPAIGN SPENDING LAW & REGULATIONS. (Federal Election Commission)

2.The President's Health: Bill Clinton refuses to release his medical reports. What's even more troubling is that he replaced the non-partisan White House Physician after he refused to inject the President with a "mystery substance". What is Bill Clinton trying to hide from the American people?

"[ABC'S] BARBARA WALTERS: Those medical records. You released summaries. Bob Dole released his primary medical records. Some people still feel you're hiding something. Why didn't you or why don't you just release the whole thing?

"PRESIDENT CLINTON: Well, first of all, I've released more information than my predecessors did -- President Bush, President Reagan, and anyone before -- and I believe I've released more information than Senator Dole has."

"WALTERS: But wouldn't it just clear everything up if you just gave it all?

"CLINTON: No, it wouldn't."

-Bill Clinton, ABC's "20/20," 9/20/96

3."The most ethical administration ever!": After promising that his administration would be the most ethical ever, we see a pattern of unethical behavior:

-The White House counsel is fired for using a helicopter for personal use.

-FBI Files of prominent Republicans where illegally compiled.

-Travel Office employees where fired to put in Bill and Hillary's friends into position - William Dale, head of the Travel Office, was investigated by the FBI AFTER he was already fired.

What does Mr Clinton have to say about unethical behavior in office?
"No question that an admission of making false statements to government officials and interfering with the FBI is an impeachable offense."
-Bill Clinton, ARKANSAS GAZETTE, August 8, 1974, page 7-A.

"I think it is plain that the president should resign and spare the country the agonyof impeachment and removal proceedings."
"I think the country could be spared a lot of agony... if he'd go on and resign,"
-Bill Clinton, candidate for US House 1974, on President Nixon

Bill Clinton, Democratic candidate for the 3rd Congressional District, said, "There is nothing left to say. There's no point putting this country through an impeachment since [Nixon] isn't making any pretense of innocence now... This country has suffered so long."
-The ARKANSAS DEMOCRAT, August 6, 1974, page 10-A

Um, Bill, can you say "Monica?"

Deposition in the Jones sexual harassment lawsuit

January 17, 1998

Q. At any time were you and Monica Lewinsky alone together in the Oval Office?

A. I don't recall, but as I said, when she worked at the legislative affairs office, they always had somebody there on the weekends. I typically worked some on the weekends. Sometimes they'd bring me things on the weekends. She it seems to me she brought things to me once or twice on the weekends. In that case, whatever time she would be in there, drop it off, exchange a few words and go, she was there. I don't have any specific recollections of what the issues were what was going on, but when the Congress is there, we're working all the time, and typically Iwould do some work on one of the days of the weekends in the afternoon.

Q. So I understand, your testimony is that it was possible, then, that you were alone with her, but you have no specific recollection of that ever happening?

A. Yes, that's correct. It's possible that she, in, while she was working there, brought something to me and that at the time she brought it to me, she was the only person there. That's possible.

Q. Have you ever met with Monica Lewinsky in the White House between the hours of midnight and six a.m.?

A. I certainly don't think so.

Q. Have you ever met

A. Now, let me just say, when she was working there, during, there may have been a time when we were all we were up working late. There are lots of, on any given night, when the Congress is in session, there are always several people around until late in the night, but I don't have any memory of that. I just can't say that there could have been a time when that occurred, I just but I don't remember it.

Q. Certainly if it happened, nothing remarkable would have occurred?

A. No, nothing remarkable. I don't remember it.

Q. Did you have an extramarital sexual affair with Monica Lewinsky?

A. No.

Q. If she told someone that she had a sexual affair with you beginning in ovember of 1995, would that be a lie?

A. It's certainly not the truth. It would not be the truth.

Q. I think I used the term "sexual affair." And so the record is completely lear, have you ever had sexual relations with Monica Lewinsky, as that term is defined in Deposition Exhibit 1, as modified by the Court.

A. I have never had sexual relations with Monica Lewinsky. I've never had an affair with her.

Interview by Jim Lehrer of 'NewsHour With Jim Lehrer'

January 21, 1998

Q: The news of this day is that Kenneth Starr, independent counsel, is investigating allegations that you suborn perjury by encouraging a 24-year-old woman, former White House intern, to lie under oath in a civil eposition about her having had an affair with you. Mr. President, is that rue?

A: That is not true. That is not true. I did not ask anyone to tell anything ther than the truth. There is no improper relationship. And I intend to cooperate with this inquiry. But that is not true.

Q: "No improper relationship" define what you mean by that.

A: Well, I think you know what it means. It means that there is not a sexual relationship, an improper sexual relationship, or any other kind of improper relationship.

Q: You had no sexual relationship with this young woman?

A: There is not a sexual relationship that is accurate.

We are doing our best to cooperate here, but we don't know much yet. And that's all I can say now. What I'm trying to do is to contain my natural impulses and get back to work. I think it's important that we cooperate; I ill cooperate. But I want to focus on the work at hand.

Q: Just for the record, to make sure I understand what your answer means, so there's no ambiguity about it

A: There is no

Telephone Interview with Roll Call

January 21, 1998

Q: You said in a statement today that you had no improper relationship with this intern. What exactly was the nature of your relationship with her?

A: Well, let me say, the relationship was not improper, and I think that's important enough to say. But because the investigation is going on and because I don't know what is out what's going to be asked of me, I hink I need to cooperate, answer the questions, but I think it's important or me to make it clear what is not. And then, at the appropriate time, I'll try to answer what is. But let me answer it is not an improper relationship and I know what the word means. So let's just

Q: Was it in any way sexual?

A: The relationship was not sexual. And I know what you mean, and the answer is no.

Interview on NPR's 'All Things Considered'

January 21, 1998

Q: Many Americans woke up to the news today that the Whitewater independent counsel is investigating an allegation that you, or you and Vernon Jordan, encouraged a young woman to lie to lawyers in the Paula Jones civil suit. Is there any truth to that allegation?

A: No, sir, there's not. It's just not true.

Q: Is there any truth to the allegation of an affair between you and the young woman?

A: No, that's not true, either. And I have told people that I would cooperate in the investigation and I expect to cooperate with it. I don't know any more about it than I've told you, and any more about it really than you do, but I will cooperate. The charges are not true, and I haven't asked anybody to lie.

Q: Mr. President, where do you think this comes from? Did you have any kind of relationship with her that could have been misconstrued?

A: Mara, I'm going to do my best to cooperate with the investigation. I want to know what they want to know from me. I think it's more important for me to tell the American people that there wasn't improper relations, I didn't ask anybody to lie, and I intend to cooperate. And I think that's all I should say right now, so I can get back to the work of the country.

At White House photo opportunity with Yaser Arafat

January 22, 1998

Q: Forgive us for raising this while you're dealing with important issues in the Middle East, but could you clarify for us, sir, exactly what your relationship was with Ms. Lewinsky, and whether the two of you talked by phone, including any messages you may have left?

A: Let me say, first of all, I want to reiterate what I said yesterday. The allegations are false and I would never ask anybody to do anything other than tell the truth. Let's get to the big issues there, about the nature of the relationship and whether I suggested anybody not tell the truth. That is false.

Now, there are a lot of other questions that are, I think, very legitimate. You have a right to ask them; you and the American people have a right to get answers. We are working very hard to comply and get all the requests for information up here, and we will give you as many answers as we can, as soon as we can, at the appropriate time, consistent with our obligation to also cooperate with the investigations.

And that's not a dodge, that's really why I've I've talked with our people. I want to do that. I'd like for you to have more rather than less, sooner rather than later. So we'll work through it as quickly as we can and get all those questions out there to you.

At White House news conference on education

January 26, 1998

Now, I have to go back to work on my State of the Union speech. And I worked on it until pretty late last night. But I want to say one thing to the American people. I want you to listen to me. I'm going to say this again. I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky. I never told anybody to lie, not a single time never. These allegations are false. And I need to go back to work for the American people.

Nationally televised speech

August 17, 1998

As you know, in a deposition in January, I was asked questions about my relationship with Monica Lewinsky. While my answers were legally accurate, I did not volunteer information. Indeed, I did have a relationship with Ms. Lewinsky that was not appropriate. In fact, it was wrong. It constituted a critical lapse in judgment and a personal failure on my part for which I am solely and completely responsible.

But I told the grand jury today and I say to you now that at no time did I ask anyone to lie, to hide or destroy evidence or to take any other unlawful action.

I know that my public comments and my silence about this matter gave a false impression. I misled people, including even my wife. I deeply regret that.

Now, this matter is between me, the two people I love most my wife and our daughter and our God. I must put it right, and I am prepared to do whatever it takes to do so.

Nothing is more important to me personally. But it is private, and I intend to reclaim my family life for my family. It's nobody's business but ours.

(Could this question be next? Q. Mr. Clinton, did you launch those nuclear missiles? A. "I don't deny that I did, I just - I have no memory of that at all.")

4. Clinton on Bosnian Embargo Bill Clinton publicly opposed unilaterally ending the Bosnian arms embargo. Meanwhile, under the table, he encouraged the terrorist state of Iran to break the blockade and assist the Bosnians. And now, Clinton wants to punish our allied countries trading with Iran - but that doesn't apply to him, of course. What kind of foreign policy do they teach in Arkansas?

"Since I have become President, we have dramatically stiffened the arms -- the embargo on Serbia."
-Clinton, Address to the American Society of Newspaper Editors," 4/1/93

Clinton secretly supported covert shipments of arms from Iran to the Bosnian Muslims. "President Clinton secretly gave a green light to covert Iranian arms shipments into Bosnia in 1994 despite a United Nations arms embargo that the United States was pledged to uphold and the administration's own policy of isolating Tehran globally as a supporter of terrorism, according to senior administration officials and other sources."

"Specifically, the U.S. officials were told to say they had 'no instructions' concerning Iranian arms shipments - a diplomatic way of saying America would not object. Clinton directly participated in the decision, a senior administration official said."

Oh, by the way, how about those troops Clinton promised to be home by Christmas, um, Christmas how many years ago?

5, Clinton Savages Bush On China, Then Copies Him Candidate Bill Clinton savaged the Bush Administration's policy toward China. Once he was president, instead of being tough but cooperative, like Mr. Bush, he rolled over and gave the communist Chinese leaders everything they wanted.

"The [Bush] administration continues to coddle China, despite its continuing crackdown on democratic reform, its brutal subjugation of Tibet, its irresponsible export of nuclear and missile technology, its support for the homicidal Khmer Rouge in Cambodia, and its abusive trade practices."
-Gov. Clinton, Georgetown University: "A New Covenant for American Security," 12/12/91

But behold, President Clinton and the "coddling" of China.

"I have decided that the United States should renew Most Favored Nation trading status toward China. This decision, I believe, offers us the best opportunity to lay the basis for long-term sustainable progress in human rights and for the advancement of our other interests with China."

"I am moving, therefore, to de-link human rights from the annual extension of Most Favored Nation trading status for China."
-Bill Clinton, The White House, "Most Favored Nation Trading Status for China," 5/26/94

6. Clinton Flip-Flops On Balanced Budget Amendment As Arkansas governor, and later as presidential candidate, Bill Clinton said he wanted a balanced budget amendment. Once he got in office - and got his hands on the federal cookie-jar - he stripped his gears going into reverse.

"'[T]he NGA [National Governors Association] is on record in a resolution as supporting a constitutional amendment for a balanced budget, something the Republicans could never have passed without the help of the Democratic governors, and I was one of them.'"
-Clinton, quoted in the Arkansas Gazette, 8/6/85

"'I would support a balanced-budget amendment, but I don't like the one now being considered because it doesn't provide for investment (investment in Clinton speak means new taxes).'"
-Clinton, quoted in The Boston Globe, 6/11/92

As President, he's against it!

"Obviously, I don't support it [a balanced budget amendment]."
-Clinton, remarks commemorating the first anniversary of the Brady Law and an exchange with reporters, Public Papers of the Presidents, Doc. 326, 2/28/95

7. Decoding Clinton Lies on...

No Gas Tax, He Promised As candidates, in their campaign book Putting People First, Bill Clinton promised no federal gas tax increases. They said we could solve our so-called energy problems by the 'increased use of alternative fuels.' But they lied and gave us the gas tax anyway, and it falls the hardest on the poorest Americans. If you happen to have a wood stove, one alternative fuel source we recommend is remaining copies of Putting the People First.

"[We] Oppose federal excise gas tax increases. Instead of a backbreaking federal gas tax, we should try conservation, increased use of natural gas, and increased use of alternative fuels."
-Gov. Clinton and Sen. Al Gore, Putting People First, 1992

On Smoking He Pipes Another Tune Like everything, what's bad for everyone else is probably fine for President Clinton. Asked, as an anti-smoking advocate, if he's willing to give up cigars and pipes, Bill Clinton started his traditional squirming: "never do it where people can see."

"'Are you sure you wouldn't like to pledge today not to smoke cigars anymore to set an example?' a reporter asked anti-smoking crusader Bill Clinton. 'No,' he said, 'Cigars and pipes weren't found by the Food and Drug Administration to be part of this. I try to set a good example. I try never to do it where people can see.'"
-Rocky Mountain News, 8/17/95

Democrat Economics 101 The main focus of President Clinton's reelection drive is his hatred of tax cuts and his supposed insistence on balancing the budget - despite his multiple vetoes of balanced budgets. He explains (sort of) his opposition to a simple amendment requiring a balanced budget. And all those Nobel Prizewinning economists are wrong, or so he says.

"The balanced budget amendment is, in the first place, bad economics."
-Clinton Letter to Congressional Leaders, Public Papers of the Presidents, 11/5/93

Mysterious? We get a better idea why he hates a balanced budget amendment and why he had to lie about it to get elected in an earlier second lecture.

"Tonight I want to talk with you about what Government can do because I believe Government must do more."
-Clinton Address Before a Joint Session of Congress, 2/17/93

He Said Government-Funded Abortion Is Wrong Bill Clinton actually said it - spending government money on abortions is wrong. However he said it when he was governor, and that was more than 20 minutes ago. Moreover he was writing to Arkansas pro-life activists, so for Bill it was only a political lie. Nevertheless, for the record: "I am opposed to abortion and to government funding of abortions. We should not spend state funds on abortions because so many people believe abortion is wrong."
-Gov. Clinton in a letter to Arkansas Right to Life, 9/26/86

Childhood Church Burnings -- Fantasyland President Clinton says he has vivid memories of black churches being burned in his Arkansas boyhood. Unfortunately, for Bill, no black churches burned in Arkansas when he was a boy. He'll just say anything to try and profit from someone else's misfortune. Wait for his campaign stops in Texas where he will recall his boyhood days with Davy Crockett at the Alamo.

"I have vivid and painful memories of black churches being burned in my own state when I was a child."
-Clinton, Public Papers of the Presidents, 6/8/96

No Tax Increase for Middle Class Bill Clinton promised that he wouldn't ask the middle classes to pay for his new programs, but he gave them the biggest tax increase in history. That's because Bill Clinton's tax laws consider everybody making more than $20,000 to be rich. According to Clinton he kept his promise because the middle class - according to Clinton - earns their livings by part-time lawn-cutting jobs and temporary work at burger joints. If you can read this, there's a 98 percent chance that Clinton thinks you're rich.

"I'm not going to raise taxes on middle-class Americans to pay for the programs I've recommended."
-Clinton, ABC's "Nightline," 10/30/92

8. Clinton's 100,000 Cops are Make-Believe Bill Clinton promised America 100,000 more policemen to help fight the violent crime-wave. But it was all hot-air.Fewer than 20,000 of them are now working, the rest are make-believe. Now they say if you want more cops, pay for them yourselves at state or local levels. Some promise: some nerve.

"I made a commitment, a promise to put 100,000 more police on our streets, because there is simply no better crime fighting tool to be found. And I intend to keep that promise."
-Clinton, The President's Radio Address, Public Papers of the Presidents, Doc. 231, 2/11/95

The Reality

"It's not 100,000 fully funded police officers. It never has been that."
-Then-Speaker of the House Tom Foley [D-Wash.], CNN's "Evans & Novak," 8/27/94

"In fact, the law created a five-year matching program during which the federal government's share diminished and eventually disappeared, leaving localities with the full cost of maintaining the new officers Since the maximum federal contribution could not have exceeded $15,000 a year per new hire, the program would never have supplied enough to pay salary, benefits, pensions and other costs, so the cities would have had to come up with a lot of upfront money many say they don't have."
-editorial, The Washington Post, 2/14/95

I would go on, but, this is enough for 1 hour of work.

The fact is, Mr. Clinton is a disgrace and has totally disgraced the Office of the President. He DID NOT and DOES NOT deserve to be there. He lied to get into office, he has continued to lie while in office and now MUST lie about past presidents to make himself look to be "not so bad". The Democratic Party is now the party of LIERS!
