Welcome to the official College Republicans of Grove City College Home Page! School year 1998 - 1999 was an exciting one for the College Republicans. Over the fall, we participated in the campaigns facing Phil English, Tom Ridge, and Sen. Spector very actively. The CR Officer election brought with it four new fresh faces and a bunch of initiative! Finally, our focus during the Spring Semester was the local primaries. We supported Mr. Lee Wishing, a Grove City Resident who was running for Mercer County Commissioner. Our efforts weren't quite enough for him to win the primary, but he only lost by 141 votes.

Grove City College is one of the few places in academia where conservatives are in the majority. In fact, Grove City College was ranked #1 by the Princeton Review's 1997-1998 survey for: "Students Most Nostalgic for Reagan" and #4 for "Future Rotarians and Daughters of the Revolution" .
Also, on August 24, 1998, U.S. News and World Report ranked Grove City College #3 in its "Best Value" ranking and #4 in its "America's Best Colleges" ranking.
In addition, out of Grove City's incoming freshman class (the class of 2003), 83% were in the top 20% of their classes upon High School graduation, and about 67% finished in the top 10% of their classes.
