Boycott ABC and 20/20

On Monday, January 3, 2000, 20/20 repeated a segment by Connie Chung entitled "Mothers in the Shadows". This report was extremely biased and showed only the negative side of searching and reunion. It painted adoptees and birthmothers in a very bad light.

A mailing list called United Triad was created to get the word out about this story, and to get more media attention to the positive side of search and reunion.

If you want to join United Triad, go to http://www.onelist.com/community/THE_UNITED_TRIAD . There is already over 650 people signed up. You can set yourself to "no mail" if you just want to add your name to the list, which will be sent to ABC and 20/20 as a petition of people who opposed their adoption story.
