Hi, I'm maggie_k, and this page is dedicated to the countless projects I've had to hand in over the years. I originally set up this page as part of a project! (The teacher didn't want us to hand in boring old papers, he wanted us to jump into the new millenium by publishing our work online and then handing him the URL.) Yipee. More work for me.
Anyway, the point of this page is to act as yet another information resoure, because, as any student can vouch, the only thing more difficult than actually writing the stupid paper is finding the right information. I'm in the process right now of constructing links to all the online resources that have ever saved my butt on a project. Unfortunately, I've just started so there isn't much to find yet. Come back later, and hopefully I can be of more help!
The Victorian Era
Marie Antoinette and the French Revolution
Check out some of these general sites while you're browsing!
Need primary resources for that difficult project? Nothing better than a museum for help!
National Museum of Science and Technology
Canadian Museum of Nature
Candian Museum of Civilization (including Children's Museum and Postal Museum)
National Gallery of Canada
No matter the project, if it's biology or chemistry, these sites will be of help.
Everything you ever wanted to know about cells (or at least an introduction to the parts of the cell)
More information about cells!
Excellent webpage devoted to chemistry
Online reference encyclopedia, dictionary, etc. Very helpful!
These aren't really project links, unless you're a devotee of the arts. Come see what my high school is doing with theatre and music just for fun!
Stop by my friend's webpage all about Ursuline College's Spring Musical Productions
Don't foget to look up UCC's concert and jazz band musicians along with the choir. They recently won several awards at the Heritage Festival in Washington!
Come back soon!
