Flying is my number one hobby. I  got my pilots license when I was 16 and built my own plane in 1988. I'm now nearing completion of my second airplane. It's a Cozy Mark IV; a 200+MPH 4 place airplane with IFR capability.                 CLICK TO SEE PHOTOS OF AIRPLANE

I took up running in 1998 at age 52 just for fun. I had no interest in long distance, but I had some friends that ran so I joined them. They were running 10 miles. I started runnng 2 miles and walked along beautiful Torrey Pines Beach with Jim Allen while the others ran. I decided I would build up a little. Over about 6 months I was up to 12 miles. Now I've run 4 Marathons (26.2 miles) and reduced my time from 4:30 to 3:37 . Our Newly Remodeled House

I have three sisters and a brother. We're a little spread out now. Adrienne is in Iowa, Ellen is in Washington, Adele in San Diego, and Bill is in Seattle. I have  two daughters who  live in No. Hollywood, each have babies. My daughter Michelle has my grandson Connor; just born in Oct 99. My daughter Kristina has Allie, born in Sep 98. Vilma & I bought a tiny house in Westchester about 2 miles from LAX. It's very convenient since it's about an equal commute for her to UCLA and me to Huntington Beach. From Sep 99 to April 2000 we doubled it's size and updated everything CLICK TO SEE THE NEW HOUSE
