The ACES UK AIRCOMBAT CUP 2008
Another season for someone to win the ACES UK Aircombat Cup. Remember, this season there are only three scoring competitions, and you use your best two scores (Throw away the worst). Also, there will be only one trophy which will be awarded to the best pilot - the UK "Ace Of Aces".
The last scoring competion of 2008 (Mainly Models Cup) was flown on Aug 9th. Albeit a wet August 9th, which allowed us to fly just two rounds. This only made some small changes to the rankings. So now we have Martin Harris as the 2008 champion - well done Martin. He worked hard all season for this award. Just a quick word to to say a "Well Done" to all pilots, including the newcomers - don't worry about the scores - the important thing is to have fun!
Hopefully, we'll all be competing for this trophy again in 2009. Keep The Faith!
