Studio Frequencies for Ferndale Movie Shoot |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Castle Rock Entertainment / "The Majestic" |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Filming has begun... There are to be a number of UHF (460-band) frequencies
I've tried to figure them out
They talk about channels numbered all the way from 1 to 17, these are all I've found searching the 461-470 band in 12.5 khz steps. Channels 1 -5 plus 467.80 have been busiest Wireless Microphones (where the REAL action is) The first three are adjacent to TV Channel 4 and may be different in other areas - and many scanners can't receive these freqs. Also, these are very low power, usually 1/20th watt maximum. Their receiving antennas are generally mounted on metal poles in the street as close as possible to the set being used 72.90 MHz
- Sound & camera techs, some actors when shooting "Standard"
Wireless Mic frequencies 169.445* 169.505* 170.245* 170.305 171.045* 171.105* 171.845 171.905 462.050(R/S) - Pinkerton Security - Eureka Branch uniformed guards Verified
in-use - Construction Workers,
especially electricians, are also using ½-watt "Family Radio Service" radios
Updates requested! Please Email me *some crew conversations here are in Spanish |

I'll be adding and updating these listings from time to time. Check back often (and watch that speedometer-looking thing on the main page whiz around). Also, there's more good frequency stuff at KF6AAQ's Scanner List or at Jake Hickock's big ol' honkin' Northern California Scanning and Ham Radio website.
Also in the meantime, let me know of any errors already, new frequencies, or whatever...right here: [__]
