This web site presents a theoretical introduction on double stars, it describes in a complete way the most traditional and economic method used in the amateur measurement of binary stars called “chronometric micrometer", and it introduces another alternative method invented by the author denominated “angular micrometer”, here are graphics and animated gif, some measurements made by amateurs, articles, general photographs, classic and actual bibliography, links, some free software made by amateurs of all the world, etc., and you can download freely (gratuitously) a very useful program of binary stars called "Efebin".
