A Comedy Of Poetic Proportions                             Or is that       A Poem Of Comedic Proportions?

These poems have been written over a period of twenty-some years.  Some are whimsical, some are NOT for those under eighteen, but all have been written by me.  Comments and criticisms are welcomed, although acidic criticisms may not rate a reply.  Some were deliberately written as poetry, and some were written as song lyrics.  See if you can tell the difference!  Inquiries about custom lyrics are also welcome.

BRILLIANT IDEAS

I had just been thinking which I don't do a lot when I was hit by lightning and my brain dislodged a thought I pondered how to do it as I walked around a while for this sudden burst of genius must be brought about with style as I wondered how to work it with noone finding out I tripped upon a tree root and was suddenly knocked out I awakened very slowly with a bandage on my head
