Helicopter Models

I am a Deputy Sheriff with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Department in Louisiana. I have recently begun helicopter flight training (which everyone knows is VERY expensive). I've also been making hand-crafted custom helicopter models to help with the expense of my flight training. I have been able to complete most civilian types of helicopter models. Here are several recently completed models.

    These models are hand-crafted from balsa-wood using schematic drawings of helicopters and handpainted with Testors paints. Each helicopter takes approximately 10-12 hours to complete. These helicopters are not built to scale, however they are very close. I have built most types of civilian helicopters over the past several months.
