Connecting a PC (or PG) to a Sinumerik unit in order to save / load part programs, setting data, machine parameters, tool data, etc.

While 10Base-T and 100Base-TX only uses 2 pairs, please connect all four since 100Base-T4 and 1000Base-T needs them...

The colors originate from the numbering and name on NIC1.


Este important ca fiecare pereche sa fie metinuta ca pereche. TX+ si TX- trebuie sa fie imperecheate iar RX+ si RX- trebuie sa formeze o alta pereche (de fire torsadate).

Desi 10Base-T si 100Base-T folosesc doar 2 perechi de fire, conectati toate cele 4 perechi pentru a putea folosi cablul si pentru 100Base-T4 si 1000Base-T...

Operating conditions
The programmer is directly linked to the V.24 interface of the SINUMERIK for PLC programming. The AS 511 interface module is not required.

Interface numbers for the various controls:
- SINUMERIK 805 - Interface 1
- SINUMERIK 810 - Interface 1
- SINUMERIK 820 - Interface 1
- SINUMERIK 840 - Interface 1
- SINUMERIK 880 - Interface 3

When the link has been established, the interface must be activated using the following NC operator routines:
Setting the interface
   - ”Setting Data” softkey
   - ”ETC” key
   - ”Setting Bits” softkey
   - Input device code ”04Hex”, byte 1, into the appropriate setting datum of the interface no.
   - Input of the baud rate, standard ”07Hex”, byte 2, into the appropriate setting byte of the interface no.
Activation of the interface
   - ”Recall” key
   - ”Data In/Out” softkey
   - Input of the interface no.
   - ”Start” softkey
Deselection of the interface, termination of transmission
   - ”Stop” softkey

Conditii de operare
Unitatea de programare (PG) este legata direct la cupla interfetei V.24 (sunt folositi alti pini din cupla decat cei specifici pentru V.24) a SINUMERIK pentru programarea PLC. Modulul de interfata AS 511 nu este necesar.

Numarul interfetei pentru diferite NC:
- SINUMERIK 805 - Interfata 1
- SINUMERIK 810 - Interfata 1
- SINUMERIK 820 - Interfata 1
- SINUMERIK 840 - Interfata 1
- SINUMERIK 880 - Interfata 3

Dupa conectarea cablului este necesara activarea interfetei folosind urmatoarele rutine (succesiuni de operatii) pe NC:
Setarea interfetei
   - tasta soft ”Setting Data”
   - tasta ”ETC”
   - tasta soft ”Setting Bits”
   - Introduceti codul de dispozitiv ”04Hex”, in byte-ul 1, in data de masina specifica acestei setari pentru interfata respectiva.
   - Introduceti viteza de transfer (baud rate), standard ”07Hex”, in byte-ul 2 in data de masina specifica acestei setari pentru interfata respectiva.
