Hi, My name is Duane Ridenhour and I have a great wife (Vickie Meader). Check out Vickie's homepage too. We live in North Alabama on a small acreage with our dog (Pepper).. We are both into flying and running and even trying to save up a little for retirement. We also enjoy making handcrafted soap at home. I worked for The Boeing Company in Huntsville, AL on the International Space Station program until April 2005. That's when I retired and started really enjoying life away from the corporate world. Vickie is a graphic artist at Boeing and will be able to get full retirement somewhere around 2009. I am a member of the Guntersville Alabama chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Associaton and own a Piper Cherokee 140 airplane (aka N7511R). Vickie and I are both runners and participate in organized races from 5K to 50K in length. We have been running since 1990. We also ride bicycles and use that as a cross training activity. And in keeping with my lifetime love of anything that has anything to do with flying, I bought some dual line kites and am trying to figure out how to do tricks with them. It will apparently take some time as it recently took several weeks just to figure out how to do a decent axle with some degree of predictability.
The latest addition to our fun stuff to do is riding a new 2007 Suzuki Burgman 400 scooter. Lots of fun and a cool 65 miles per gallon.
