Welcome to the Lab 5400 neighbourhood and to my humble abode. What's this page about ? Well, if you haven't already checked out the other water rocket labs in this street, you should do so now for some excellent information on single stage rockets.(Bruce, at number 5402, also has a great movie of his two stager). My interest lies in developing a reliable 'interstage' release mechanism that will allow a multi stage rocket to be launched. Other areas of investigation include adding parachute recovery to the basic rocket and also a delay system for chute deployment on the final stage.
