Alabama to Antarctica

Dr. Rich Aronson, a marine scientist at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab is spending time in Antarctica conducting research on benthic animals. Kindergarten and First Grade classes are Penguin Pen Pals sharing questions and answers.

Sea Life Tiles

Families in the community made a $25.00 contribution to the Pelican's Nest Science Lab and have their handprints or footprints forever emblazoned on colorful tiles which depict sea creatures such as crabs, shrimp, and fish, and pelicans.
