Located in East Northport. This arena is the present site of the MHL weekly Pick up game. The rink is run by the county, so don't expect anything more than just a place to play a game. The locker rooms are so small that each team is forced to use 2 seperate rooms to suit up & undress. The benches are weirdly configured. The boards are quite high, so be careful when you jump over. Watch your step when you walk to the bench area. Many of the rubber floor tiles are missing, so make sure your skate blades don't touch the cement floor. The ice surface is crummy on its best night. After skating for 1 hr you will notice that your blades have considerably dulled & are full of dirt and sand. This will happen because the cement floor under the ice is cracking & the elements are now rising to the ice surface. Parking on the other hand is excellent, although finding the rink is sometimes hard after dark.

Newbridge rink is the site of the Red Devils 1997 MHL Cup victory. This rink is very easy to reach. The locker rooms are standard size, but beware of locker room #4 because it has no heat. Also beware of the ledge that is attached to the boards. The puck has a tendency to get trapped in it during the game. Some refs will automatically stop play, while others will award the puck to the player who touches it first. The ice surface is regulation NHL size & you'll get a nice double cut if your came is preceeded by a Public session.

Take I-4 to W. Colonial Dr. Exit downtown (U.S. 50)

Located in the town of Great Neck. The rink is quite large for our level, but the locker rooms are quite small. Remember, both teams have to share the same penalty box (that can get quite gamey). Rule of thumb: If the weather is warm out, the ice will stink & the rink will be foggy,. If it's cold the ice will be nice & hard. The rink is well hidden & kind of tricky to find. Follow these directions & you should have no trouble.

Located in Hidden Pond Park in the town of Hauppauge. The "twin" rinx are less than 5 years old and feature a state of the art facility. The locker rooms are huge and have stall showers attached to them. But remember the house rule is that you can not bring your sticks into the locker rooms. They must be deposited in the stick box located outside of each room. Bench size is standard & the ice surface is fine. It is always a pleasure to play there.

If you're coming north on the NJ Turnpike, you can connect to
the Garden State Parkway at exit 11 of the Turnpike. If you're
coming north on I-95 through Philly, I-95 kind of dies around

it "becomes" I-295 South?) and you'd have to get off the highway
onto U.S. 1 and follow that north for about 35 minutes until you
pick up the Garden State Parkway north around Edison, NJ. So it is
not recommended unless you were coming during light traffic hours.
