Welcome to the HQ page for the BOATANCHORS WEB RING.
This is an informal group connecting web sites across the Internet. It will send many
visitors to your web site as interested parties surf the web looking for information
about vintage amateur radio.
These are the SIMPLE instructions for those already familiar with joining a WEB RING.

You may join your site to the ring provided it meets certain minimal criteria:
1) Your site has material related to vintage radio, AM, homebrewing, tubes, construction or general material of interest to radio amateurs. There are other web rings that are better suited to general purpose amateur radio. THIS web-ring specializes in BOAT ANCHORS!
2) If you don't know what a BOATANCHOR is, you should read the FAQ FILE (Frequently Asked Questions) and then come back here.
3) I suggest that you VISIT a few of the sites and see if it is for you!
4) If you are sure that you would like to join the RING, there are a few simple steps that will only take a few minutes of your time:
You must first fill in the form below to send your information to the system and register.
READ THE FULL INSTRUCTIONS FIRST!!
Then you will get an e-mail within a few minutes, telling you what your SITE ID# and PASSWORD are. Be SURE To keep these handy so that you can make changes later.
The final step is to just paste in the HTML FRAGMENT for the ring to your web page. It must be on the same page as the one you register in your application form below.
THAT IS IT! Once you have taken these steps, you will be up and running on the BOATANCHORS WEB-RING and many amateurs and radio-electronics fans will visit your site through the ring!
