Always Ready...the U.S. Coast Guard

I joined the U.S. Coast Guard in October of 1994, went off to boot camp
January 17, 1995, and from there was stationed in
Depoe Bay, Oregon.

I applied, and was accepted to the U.S. Coast Guard Academy which had been a goal since childhood. However, I chose not to go, and have never regretted my decision.

I left Oregon for Aviation school (in Elizabeth City, North Carolina) in December, 1996.

From there, I was assigned to USCG Airstation Kodiak, Alaska.

In April, 1999, I left Alaska for USCG Airstation Traverse City, MI

A bunch of cool Pictures of Coast Guard things.

You can read an essay I wrote for an english class on my job in the USCG.

I recieved my honorable discharge from the Coast Guard on February 28, 2001. I served for six years, one month, and 14 days.
