Directions: From Highway 83 about 1 mile east of Mercedes, Texas, turn North on Farm Road 1425. This is also Labeled as Kika De La Garza Hwy. Also known as Mile 2 east Road. Whatever you want to call it go north on it for about 1 mile and Old Rebel Field is on the east side of the Road and is well marked with a large sign. Turn in and go between the hangar on your left and the white building on your right. Continue straight ahead and you will see us parked on the side of the caliche taxiway. If by some chance the wind is out of the North we will be set up on the opposite end of the runway but you will see us.
The club will have 1/8, 3/16, and 1/4 inch rods, and at least one rail available. If you need rods other than these please bring your own, and the club will have pads that can handle up to 1-1/16 inch rods.
You can fly anything up to a mid level H motor. The criteria is anything with 125 grams of propellant or less and rockets weighing 3.3 lbs. or less.
We usually go eat lunch afterwards. Everyone is welcome to tag along.
