1. Your job as a group is to put together a general sets of notes about each of the groups assigned to you. This should include the following:

A. A list of the major characteristics that define the group

B. Examples of the organisms that belong to this group (Try to choose common examples)

C. Any unusual characteristics about your group (diseases they cause, organisms they infect, weird places they live, weird conditions they live under, etc.

2. Your notes should be brief but complete.

3. We need specifics, enough information for us to understand the nature of your groups of organisms.

4. Prepare your presentation using the lab computers provided in power point.

5. Each presentation is to include all of the information mention earlier and at least three pictures or illustrations. These may be either drawn from the book or inserted in your presentation from the Internet.

6. Each group will then prepare a poster summarizing the key aspects of their organisms, fully illustrated.

7. Time permitting your table will present your groups power point presentation and poster to the rest of the class on lab day.
