The cases can be change easily gragging the elements with the mouse (the elements can be located also with value from Data window) corresponding the graph of Shear, Moment and Deflection is shown .
Xstruct-Beam is very flexibly can be fit to the powerful of your computer.
The main action that you will need is at Tool Bar and Status Bar.
Extra ability is to Save and open Xstruct-Beam files, see FER solution stages (in Solution stages window), Simulation, etc ...

Graph Focus:
Fix the factor that multiply plot value to show properly the graphs. (when you move the mouse on the focus item on Graph Left-Top area it appears => see example)Example: the multiplying factor for "+" is k=k1*k2,
for "-" is k=1/abs(k1*k2), at 0 it is k=1.
Add data to element:Click (at the ToolBar) the elements you want to work with -> they will appear at a high place on the Beam Drag the elements to their position on the Beam. if error is appear go on to finish the case (it is because Option=>Solve at each dragging is on and the case is not legal). Then you can Add value data to the elements.
Delete element:Open Data window (with ToolBar or menu Data=>Data window or click mouse-right on element ) Select element (move the mouse on the element and make it white) Change the data from Data window fields.
There is no possibility to delete element, but it is possible to terminate element simply Drag it to a high place on the Beam.Read the solution:
To read the solution press and move (or click at position) the mouse on the graph area then you can read the output value at the Status Bar.Creating Simulation:
Another way is to see the result at the Data windows (or Status Bar) when moving the mouse on the element that is on the beam.
Fit graphs:
Change the value on the Graph Focus.

New:
Clear the Beam case and Reference values, but not change Unit, Focus, and Visual length of beam.Open:
Open a saved case File '*.Bem'Save as:
Save the Beam case to a File '*.Bem'.Exit:
The parameters that save is : Position and value of all element, Visual length of beam, Unit, Focus, Reference values - P,L,E,I ,
Close all windows and exit Software.

Add Shear release to the board.

Data
Data window:
Open the most important window for controlling element and Beam Data.Solution stages window:

Open "Solution stages" window that teach the FER method with all graphs and data.Find extreme value:

Find max value of Shear/Moment/Deflection, see the results in the Status Bar.Up-to-deat data on mouse move:
(if there is more then one max value, the first one is the result).
Each mouse move on element Up-to-deat data window.
Graphs
Active graphs:
Turn On/Off the Calculation and graph plot of Shear/Moment/Deflection.Line thickness:
(the same action can be change at the Toolbar).
It is possibly to change the graphical thickness of graphs lines.Graph step:
the step that the software plot graph line.Graph line color:
it is influencing the line resolution and very important to the speed of the simulation.
Open window that let you to change line color to every graph line.Focus:
Show / Hide the Focus item on Graph Left-Top area.Graph value line:

This line Show the position of the mouse when it moves (+Left mouse press) on the Graph zone => at this situation you can see the graphs data on the Status Bar.Clean graph:

Solve:
Solve the case, Useful if "Solve in each dragging" is OffSolve at each dragging :
Turn On/Off - Solve after every time element is drag. (if the case is not legally message box will appear).Simulation:
