american_meteorite_survey@yahoo.comCollecting space rocks can be an exciting and rewarding hobby. Compared to other things of value, such as precious metals, these fascinating collectibles are very rare. Over the last five years interest, as well demand, for interesting rocks has increased dramatically, and so have the prices that they command.
It is my goal to provide the best specimens at reasonable prices. Many of the items offered in this list were found by my own efforts, walking many miles in the field to recover tiny fragments.
This list is not large, but all pieces offered here are the best of their type. If you are seeking something that is not on this list, I have numerous contacts, so feel free to contact me via e-mail, or snail mail listing your needs.

NOTICE
I DO NOT DEAL IN CANYON DIABLO, "METEOR CRATER" METEORITES !
I am involved in a research project in the vicinity of the crater and the permit agreement is that I not buy, sell, or trade these for the duration of the project and five years after. All Canyon Diablo specimens acquired in this project are the property of the State of Arizona and or research institutions endorsed by the State of Arizona. Also, I will not deal with specimens that I suspect were obtained from the Meteor Crater area, legally or illegally.

HOW TO ORDER FROM THIS LIST
Refer to the specimen locale and #, and E-mail, or phone your order so that the specimen(s) will be reserved. E-mail is the best method as I usually check and answer my e-mail twice a day. If you do not get a prompt confirmation, then I am out in the field, and therefore unreachable. Upon return, I will answer each e-mail request in the order that it was received.
If you wish to RESERVE a specimen, do the following:
E-mail, or call to reserve the piece and I will then try to send you an attachment with a jpeg file of the items that you are interested in. Otherwise send me a stamped and self addressed envelope along with a new blank 1.44 M 3.5" IBM formatted Floppy, and I will return it to you with a JPG photo file of the piece(s).
OR
After viewing, e-mail me with your intentions, and if you wish to purchase the piece send full payment. Otherwise, let me know so that I may offer it to the next in line.
All sales are with payment in advance. Postal Money Orders will insure immediate shipment, but all personal checks must clear before shipment will be made. Also, I will accept "e-gold."
(Check this out at
http://www.e-gold.com, as it is a very good method to satisfy payment for international orders. I will also accept in gold in the form of bullion coins, or nuggets at fair market value in trade. (I also offer gold in trade for space rocks)Prices are postage paid for continental U. S orders over $100. International overseas orders, and orders going to Mexico or Canada must include postage, and fees for insurance. If insurance is waived, the loss of items is the responsibility of the purchaser. Such shipments will be via registered mail, and uninsured. Shipments with contents listed as "scientific value" will not be charged duty fees, but they cannot be insured for any monetary value if you choose this option. The good news is that registered overseas shipments are rarely lost.
There is a 10 day satisfaction guarantee on all items. However, if a refund is desired the refund amount will be the cost of the specimen minus the postage fee to send it to you. The postage receipt will be sent with the refund to justify the deduction. Refund check can be either by regular check, which take time to clear, or by Postal Money Order. Postal Money Orders will cost an additional 85 cents. All refunds are contingent on the items in question being returned IN EXACTLY THE SAME CONDITION THAT WERE OFFERED ON THIS LIST.
