The Boneyard

There are 28 bones in the set. These range from the double-zero to the double-six. ("Bone" refers to one of the tiles used in the game.)

The Players

There are two players. You are called "Player" and your hand is displayed at the left top corner of the applet. The other player are controlled by the computer.

Shuffling the Bones

The computer shuffles the set of bones before each game.

Beginning the Game

The computer randomly draws seven bones for each player at the beginning of each set. Your hand is shown face up but the other players hands are shown face down. You cannot see which bones they have but you can see how many bones he have left. The player that has the bone with the least double plays first. If no doubles, first move selected randomly.

Playing a Bone

When a player's turn comes up, the player must select a bone from his or her hand (by mouse click). Active bone will change color. You do move by clicking to one of the ends of the played bones. Doubles will be placed crosswise to the bone they’re played on.

Drawing and Passing

If a player cannot play a bone, he or she get any bone from boneyard (left upper corner). This bone will appear in your hand automatically. If player still cannot play, move turn to opponent. If the boneyard is empty and a player cannot play, the player must pass. If all players have to pass on the same round of turns, the game is blocked and will end.

Ending the Set & Game

A set ends as soon as one player has no bones left. Free bones of opponent will summarize and add to his or her current score. Dialog box with current score is appear. To start next set click to 'OK' button. If you click this button, a new set begins with all players keeping their current score. The first player to reach a score above 100 lose the game.
