CARL HAMRE CARL HAMRE DICK REINECKE, under one pound, claim is embarrassing CARL HAMRE CASS LAKE Carl Hamre is the 3-time reigning Reinecks fishing contest champion.  In the history of the tour, nobody has matched his accomplishments both in terms of number of walleye caught on opener, or size of fish.  He holds several Reinecke fishing records, though notably absnet is biggest fish, lifetime, which goes to Dave Reinecke with a 11 pound, 8 oz. walleye netted on Lake Jeanette in the summer of 1999.  His netman - you guessed it, Carl Hamre.
