The preference is given to Canada, because it possesses large resources of many commodities. Gold, nickel, platinum group elements, uranium and diamonds are some selected commodities of scientific and practical interests.

Topics related to mineral deposits or to areas favourable for mineral deposits in other countries, are of great interest too.
