NEWBROOK
HISTORICAL
OBSERVATORY
|
 |

The Newbrook Observatory was built in the early 1950's for the purpose of investigating atmospheric densities at high elevations. The theory of the day was that by observing meteor behavior, such as paths, velocities and heights scientists could determine atmospheric density. These pages are to tell the story of the Newbrook Observatory and the search for meteors in the night sky.
This site is broken up into smaller pages because of the extensive use of graphics, feel free to browse back and forth.
