New News

I know, it's been a long time since I've updated this page. I hope to get a chance to work on it again shortly. For now, see my

Those of us "of a certain age" can remember the excitement the space program, even before the space program started. The Nando Times Health & Science News page offers late breaking news.

NASA has a Mars Atlas Home Page. Go to this page, click on the map, and you get a Viking Orbiter picture of Mars. You can look for the face, but it might not be what you expect. Doubtless a government conspiracy. You can also access a whole set of Planetary Image Finders.
Are gigantic cosmic snowballs pelting the earth's atmosphere? If so, it challenges long-held assumptions about how Earth and the solar system evolved. In fact, most of Earth's water might come from comets.
Was there something that was here, but isn't anymore? It may be filed under Old News.
