Cartography Instructor, Defense Mapping School. Managed a 13-week Basic Cartography Course consisting of Map Base Compilation, Color Separation, Editing, Fundamentals of Geographic Information Systems, Multispectral Image Processing and Interpretation. Students were military and civilians, representing all branches of service, DoD, and allied nations, of varying ranks and positions.

Cartographic Supervisor. Performed database management in a library of map reproducibles that covered the entire Pacific rim. Interacted on a daily basis with map production elements for technical guidance and quality control. Responsible for receiving, cataloguing, maintaining, and transmitting over 2 million dollars worth of maps and related data.
Terrain Analyst. Performed Supervisory Terrain Analysis and Cartography. Provided technical guidance to subordinate personnel and used various techniques to measure terrain data from remotely sensed imagery and existing topographic products. Estimated conditions not available from existing sources and manipulated data to transform results to specifications. Edited finished manuscripts for completeness and accuracy. Interacted daily with Defense Mapping Agency for transmitting source material and finished products.
