Jet Jock Central

For U.S. Jet Jocks

Home page for United States Air Force fighter pilots, United States Navy and United States Marine Corps fighter pilots. Hello, I am the creator of this homepage.
I created this homepage because being a fighter pilot sounds like a job I would like to do.
My callsign is RED DEVIL 5 after the Red Devils squadron of the 107th Fighter Squadron, 127th Fighter Wing, 127th Wing, Selfridge Air National Guard Base Michigan. I want to fly the (Viper) when I become a fighter pilot.

FLIGHT SIMULATOR DOCUMENTATION ERRORS:
JET FIGHTER III
KC-10 Extender is based on the DC-10,and made by McDonnel Douglas, not Boeing.
RF-4C,F-4 B,F-4C/D, F-4 J,F-4 N,F-4 S Phantom II,and F-4G Wild Weasel do not have a cannon. But in Vietnam Air Force F-4's carried a 20mm Gun Pod in the centerline station or on the wings in place of the gas tanks. The only version of the "Rhino that was in U.S. service with an internal gun is the F-4E.
C-5 Galaxy is not the biggest aircraft ever built, the Russians built a bigger six engine cargo plane that resembles the Galaxy in many ways.
C-130 Hercules(regular transport version) does not carry any armarment excepta large bomb called the DAISEY CUTTER in it's cargo hold.
The AC-130U Spectre is the type of Hercules with weapons.

F-22 LIGHTNING II
This game has a USAF Boeing 737 as an Airborne Warning And Control System (AWACS). The aircraft that carries the large AWACS dish is a USAF 707 or 720. The 737 was a test that Boeing and the Air Force conducted. It never went operational.
And Nellis AFB has two parellel runways, not one.
COVER PICTURE ERRORS FOR SIMULATOR SOFTWARE, HARDWARE etc.
On the cover of the box for Jane's Combat Stick (Made by CH Products) shows a pilot in full USAF flight gear. Look closely, the Air Combat Command patch is on the left, and the pocket on the right arm (That holds pens) is supposed to be on the left. Thus this picture is backwards.
This example is the official patch of the 127th Wing (MI-ANG), Selfridge Air National Guard Base Mount Clemens, Michigan This example is the official patch of the 927th Air Refueling Wing (AFRC), Selfridge Air National Guard Base Mount Clemens, Michigan
This is the official patch of the Air Combat Command This is the official patch of the Air Force Reserve Command.
These aircraft shown are F-16C's from Nellis's AFB Agressors Squadron. This shot of an F-16C shows the wide angle HUD, this HUD is used on Block 40 jets and up.

The Vipers shown here information are aircraft of the 107 FS, Selfridge ANGB, MI. This photograph was taken during RIMPAC '96. RIMPAC '96 was an Operation in which Naval and Air Forces participated in a joint exercise.
Here is me in an F-16A Block 10 OCU of the then 107th TFS, 127th TFW. I had to get out because the pilot was coming. Sitting in that cockpit was a dream come true. I got to sit in the cockpit because my uncle, was in the Army,at that time he was a Captain. He knew an aircraft mechanic. When the mechanic turned on the avionics, the HUD said, WARN, WARN, WARN.There were a couple of things that I didn't expect. An arm rest, and "Towel Racks" on the side of the canopy. Fall 1992. Four years later in the Fall of 1996, a pilot friend of mine took me on a tour of the 107th FS building and the 127th FW Lt. McMath flight simulator building where I actually piloted a F-16C/D Block 30/32 Simulator. He also gave me the oppurtunity to sit in a F-16C Block 30 cockpit. The C/D model Block 30's were in production from around late 1984 to late 1986. It is amazing how much fighter technolgy had advanced between 1979 and 1984.
