This page is dedicated to all who are interested in RC (Radio Control) Soaring and
Photography. RC Soaring is a healthy hobby which gives you all years of enjoyment.
All you need to have is a set of transmitter with its receiver and servo motors and a
model glider. They sail or glide in lifting air currents generated by the heat of the earth
or the upward flow of wind directed by the slope of a hill side. The former is called
thermal lift and the latter is called slope lift. This page is all about slope soaring.

  • Why do they fly without engines?
What are thermal lift and slope lift?

  • Check out the different types of Models.
Maybe there is something you like.

  • Flying Wings, Scale Sailplanes,
Mid-air Crash, Aerial Photos and more....

  • Touch & Go, Scale Landing......

  • A list of reference books for
    scale and full size sailplanes.

To find out more on RC Gliders click the left subject titles.

With radio control, one can fly the glider just like its real counterpart. These gliders are graceful to cruise in the air. They can fly very fast sometimes up to 100 mph or hovering at your side.

Hong Kong is one of the best slope soaring places in the world. Except in typhoon periods and rainny days there are places you can fly RC gliders in thermal lift or slope lift.

Another section is devoted to my travel photo galleries. All photos were taken with the Leica camera. You are welcome to view.
