This is a little pictoral of the replacement of the 7' suspended ceiling in the Communications Room at Wilford Hall with an 8' hard ceiling to allow the use of 7 1/2' racks and cable ladders.

When installing a site, all of the future expansions should be taken into account BEFORE installing the equipment. Reverse engineering is difficult when it is not available to shut down the system during the work. The following pictures show some of what is encountered when a ceiling (where cabels were run) is removed. Enjoy yourself...
