Hands-On Evacuation Training Sessions!!!

We are currently developing a hands-on evacuation training program to better prepare you in the event that you should be involved in an airliner disaster. This program is only in the preliminary development phase, and more details will be given here as the project progresses. Our goal is to structure a course which will allow you to practice escaping from an airliner cabin in the relative safety of a motion-based simulator.

We anticipate the course including:

Evacuation from a smoke-filled cabin
Evacuation in darkness
Operation of various types of exits (i.e. overwing, Type A, ventral)
Evacuation through various types of exits (i.e. overwing, front, ventral)
Escaping down emergency slides
Instruction on location and use of emergency equipment throughout the cabin
