I have experimented with a variety of audio formats and found that RealAudio files have some advantages and some disadvantages over other audio formats. RealAudio doesn't provide the best quality, but there is no waiting for files to download. It streams..........
If you don't have Real Audio you can get it by clicking on the Real Audio icon below. It only takes a couple minutes to download and you will find quite a few sites that use Real Audio and Real Video. It's FREE and allows you to play streaming audio and video. Even if you have RealAudio, if it isn't version 5.0 or the RealPlayer G2, you may have trouble playing these files. Unlike the MIDI files, these files contain real audio. This means you can hear real instruments, not synthesized instruments!
Hippity Hop - A blues with a hiphop type of groove... for those times when you are feeling a bit hiphoppity. Always - A nice little song featuring me on electric guitar. Spanish Delight - A Spanish tune composed and performed by me. Saving All My Love 4 You - A tune originally sung by Whitney Houston. This is my interpretation on guitar. Pachelbel's Canon in D - I decided to make a guitar transcription of the famous Pachelbel Canon in D. Modal Citizen - This is a modal blues I tossed together because I was in a modal mood that day. Fall Song - I was driving home one Fall day when this little melody popped into my head, so I added some chords and a little background vocals and recorded it. Like Someone In Love - This tune is a jazz standard by Van Heusen which has a rather beautiful melody. My Funny Valentine - This tune was originally a ballad by Rogers/Hart. In this performance I decided to play it as a bossa, thereby rendering it as a "My Funny Valentine Bossa" (MFVB). Dreams - This tune originated as a simple chord progression using a keyboard sound that was titled Dreaming. After recording this simple chord progression I decided a little electric guitar would sound nice, providing the melody and a couple solos. It was then that "Dreams" was born. Angel Eyes - This tune features my father on tenor sax. If you are a Coltrane/Miles fan you will enjoy this recording. This recording was taken from a video that was originally produced for a cable jazz show in Chicago. If you want to hear some great sax playing, check this out!
