Blues prodigy Jonny Lang will make his prime-time network television debut as a special guest on "The Drew Carey Show," (ABC) on Sept. 30. 1998 at 9:00 p.m. ~~I also hear the date is Sept. 20 so look both days!~~

More On New Album!

Well, I have heard many diffrent rumors on Jonny's new album! It will either be called "Wander The World" or "Wandering This World." Also, I heard the release date of Oct. 6 was changed to Oct. 20!

Jonny Meets Hanson!

Jonny met Hanson in London recently.They watched the Truman Show together at the Planet Hollywood. Hanson were glad to meet one of their peer.They said:"I guess it's good to have friends in the industry." And about a colaboration: "Maybe. Who knows?" Last year, Rolling Stones Magazine asked Hanson what was their five favourite '97 albums and they put Lie To Me in third place! It's sad Jonny cut his hair (He said he was tired of choking it!), they would have done a nice quartet!

Here is an e-mail I recieved from another Jonny fan. There is some interesting information here, so read on!

Hello,
I m also a Jonny fan from Québec City. Yesterday he was in Montreal so I got some info that I want to share with you and all the Jonny Lang fans. He said that he recorded all the songs for his future album (that will be release next fall)but there still is some works to do on it. He hasn't seen Blues Brothers 2000 yet, he would be too embarassed to see himself on the big screen. He also said that he wants to ask the singer of Blues Traveler to play harmonica on his new album(which he claims to be more funky, soul, rock than Lie to Me). He played an acoustic song (from the future album) called Breaking Me. He wrote it with his friend Kevin from Minneapolis. I wrote the lyrics even though I'm not sure that all the words are good.There it is:

Big News! 'Blues Brothers 2000' is due out Friday, Feb. 6th! Jonny is in the movie, so check it out! He sings '634-5789' as a duet with Wilson Pickett! Jonny plays the janitor :o)
