In The Secret Circle, the seven witches of the coven perform a special ceremony. Each takes a candle, lights it, and places it in the middle of a circle. Then each says a word naming a quality of women, a virtue. Then once all candles are together, the witches show the candles to the elements to receive their blessing. It is a celebration of what girls are. Each girl also has a special stone whose properties aid her in magic. Select a coven member and click on the jewel to learn more about her color, and her working crystal. Someday, each page will also include a candle spell. This site may include some spoilers but most of it is stuff that is already revealed on the backs of the books.
