Radical Bike History

The first Bike I bought was a 98 Giant Yukon.

Both my wife and I bought bikes at the same time so our budget was limited..The summer of 99 I looked around and almost bought the Kona Manomano.

Hard to come up with $1499. Then I heard about GT's I-drive. My friend had an older GT model and said they were great bikes. After test riding a GT XCR-4000 and XCR-3000 I decided to buy the HOT RED GT XCR-4000. The 3000 was not in stock with my size(large). And a more reasonable price of $959.99. Shortly thereafter my friend picked up his new bike- a GT XCR-1000 with Shimano XTR components. About 3 times the price of my bike, but boy it shows. Weighs only 24.5lbs. I am happy with my bike though. Handles much better than what I was used to before. And for switching from a hardtail with no suspension to a full suspension bikes-the results are remarkable. Give the I-drive a try. You'll like it!!!
