John&Peggy'sJeep

My 1983 CJ-7 is climbing an Oak tree stump in front of my house. It is powered by a 258 cid 6 cylender engine. I have the 400 cfm Weber carburator to fuel it. The ignition is GM HEI, an upgrade that has worked out very well. There is a link on this page for instructions. It has a 2-1/2 in. lift by Procomp. Rancho 5000 shocks. I have the split shifter by Currie that allows me to run two wheel low. Or it can run front wheel drive only. I have one piece axles in the rear with a Detroit locker and an EZ locker in the front. Connecting it to the ground I have BFGoodrich A/T's. I also have a hard top and full steel doors. I made a rear bumper out of square tubing. I put doors on each end. It is a real handy spot to store chains and tow straps. Me and my wife Peg ride on a pair of Super Seats. If you have any comments email me or use the guest book. Happy Jeeping. Trick
