Welcome to the 2000 - 2001 Millington Trojan Drumline Page. This year we are changing things up just a lit bit, we would first like to say that we are dedicating this years show to the late Terrell Matlock he will be dearly missed and second we will be playing a Zorro type Latin show instead of a Funk show like the past. This year we were going to change the role of having three instructors instead of one, but do to our lose it will only be myself Kenny (Red Dawg) Hill and Zack (White Guy) Horvath. The two of us will honor and charish the fact that we had the oppurtunity to work with such an outstanding person. The two of us both graduated from Millington High and were both at one time center snare and Drumline Section leader. We both have visions dancing in our heads and i'm sure that Terrell will be more than honored to see his former students continue to pass on the torch that he once lit for us. We would like to have 4 snares playing Madie Scouts style 2 or 3 tenors playing BD style and of course 5 basses playing Cavies style and two cymbal players doing some phat visuals thats like the ultimate drumline that Terrell would be more than proud to say those are my guys out there givin it there all. We've had our first two practices and things look good for the future. Well i would like to thank Mike Yopp for letting me rejoin the team to help make Millington Drumline and Band a work of art. I would also like to thank Memphis Drumshop for supporting us in the past and hopefully the future. I would also like to thank God for letting us have a chance to know Terrell Matlock I was told that in order to find the diamond you have to first dig through the dirt this year i think we're done digging. I would like to ask Terrell to look after us and help us have a good year. THIS IS FOR YOU TERRELL WE LOVE YOU !!!!!
