Toys
Thanks to
Item #277277588 up for auction on ebay.com we have this image of the Irwin
Toys Dune Buggy. It was apparently made for the Mego line of toy figures.
The fine print reads
" FOR AGES 4 TO 12 CAUTION NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CHILDREN UNDER
3 BECAUSE OF SMALL PARTS"
I believe this is a "sorta-scale" version of the Kyote Racer that had
a fuel tank in the back seat, hence no rear seat. Also the Racer had a
windshield that went up or down, could be it is just missing.
This is the hot pink dune buggy made for Barbie and Ken, put out by Irwin. They could be found by the thousands back in the early 70's. Today you are lucky if you can find just one. It is Item #285722211 on Ebay.com
